The Finding Sydney Foundation website was designed and developed by Internet Specialists which was acquired by the Glenfield Digital Group.

The website and subsequent media press room was launched and has seen millions of visitors globally.

The Remaster

The remastering of the Finding Sydney Foundation website successfully modernised the platform, transitioning it from outdated legacy technology to a high-performance, responsive site accessible on all devices. A central achievement of this revitalization was the high-quality archival remastering of key historical assets, including high-definition restoration of images, documents, and previously unpublished ROV footage and interviews, ensuring these vital records are preserved at a professional, print-ready standard.

Beyond visual upgrades, the project integrated robust digital preservation measures and secure Australian-based hosting to ensure the Foundation’s work remains protected and accessible for decades to come. By implementing interactive timelines and galleries alongside updated cultural sensitivity protocols, the new site provides a more engaging and respectful experience, solidifying its place as the definitive digital record of the search for and discovery of HMAS Sydney (II).
